This piece was inspired by a scene on Kiawah Island. I love the Lowcountry landscape because of the gorgeous blues and greens that we are all drawn to, but there is so much variety within. The many colorful reflections in the water, and the reeds that change into a deep pinky mauve in the Fall, all lend so much more color than what jumps out at first glance.
