This piece is inspired by a village nestled in the Dales of Yorkshire, England. I loved the idea of how long the people there have been tending to those stone walls, roads, homes, and planting flowers for the village. Hundreds of years. In all that time, with homes tucked in tightly with one another, they have most certainly been tending to one another as well.
